My Person, Education and Qualifications
I am a Certified Bioenergetic Therapist, (CBT), have a Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) and am licensed in the State of California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with active status (LCSW #386)
I did my professional studies at the University of Michigan and received my Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) in 1961. My license as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW #386) from the State of California followed in 1965. My specialized training as a Bioenergetic Therapist as well as two years training in Gestalt Therapy followed between the years 1975 and 1979. All in all I have been active as a Therapist for about 42 years and have worked with all kinds of problems including individual therapy, couples therapy, group therapy, team development, etc. I am recognized as a Training Therapist and Supervisor by Bioenergetic Training Institutes and am a member of the North German Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis (NIBA) as well as the International Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis (IIBA).
I am a citizen of the USA and since June, 2016 also a German Citizen. Following 20 years of psychotherapy practice in California. I moved to Germany in 1982 and have been a practicing therapist here since that time. My mother language is English and in some sense, my preferred language is German. I am fluent in both languages and feel comfortable doing therapy in both languages.
